The DOE’s sample tests on this site, from 2018, 2024, 2025, and 2026, print 1,085 questions. 723 of them are different questions: 362 printings (33.4%) repeat a question printed before, and 26 of the different questions are earlier questions with their wording changed.
Only the tests on this site are counted. The handbooks from 2008–2009, 2009–2010, 2010–2011, 2011–2012, 2012–2013, 2013–2014, 2014–2015, 2015–2016, 2016–2017, 2017–2018, 2018–2019, 2019–2020, 2020–2021, 2021–2022, 2022–2023, 2023–2024, 2024–2025, 2026 Grade 9 Math, Form 1, and 2026 Grade 9 Math, Form 2 are not imported yet, so a question they printed first counts as new in the first year here that prints it. The numbers will change as they are added.

How these are counted
A question is the same question when its text, choices and answer are identical apart from typography, small words such as “the”, and the order of the parts of its stem. It has one page on this site and is listed in every test that prints it.
A question with a changed word or choice is a different question. When it rewords a question from an earlier year it is counted as a rewording.
A year is a handbook’s school year. Each handbook holds two sample tests, Form A and Form B, each with an English and a math section.
Reprinted passages are counted separately: a passage can return with new questions about it.
